Bhabho starts scolding Bhabhasa that every half an hour he needs chai or something. They have their usual banter. Meanwhile, Bhabhasa notices the milk glasses. He praises Bhabho that she takes good care of him but is confused why two glasses. He is about to drink that Bhabho stops him. She complains even after her telling Sandhya to take them, she forgot. She takes the milk to give it to Suraj. Bhabhasa tries to stop her in vain.
Suraj is about to kiss Sandhya's hand, she gets up and shouts out, "Do whatever you want, celebrate your first night." Stunned Suraj stumbles "what" and Sandhya angrily replies "what, I have been brought here as a maid and this is one of my duties." A hurt tearful Suraj asks her "what did I do wrong." Sandhya hurtfully vents out her feelings on whatever Bhabho advised her to be. She questions just because she is a girl, she has no identity of herself, a girl is always identified by her relationship and she is identified as all relationship except for herself as a woman. She questions him why always a girl is advised how she should be after marriage so that nobody questions her upbringing. She has to be a daughter, a sister, a wife, a daughter-in-law, a sister-in-law and all other relations except as her own self after marriage. Why no guy is advised all these, he is not told to be a good son-in-law, brother-in-law and all. She tells do whatever you want and kneels down on the floor and is crying. Suraj is confused by her behavior.
Bhabho knocks the door with milk. Tense suraj wipes his sweat and opens the door. Bhabho tells Sandhya forgot to bring milk. Suraj takes the tray and Bhabho is about to ask something, he slams the door on her face. Bhabho is hurt.
